Princess Bride

I have a section of my project that the hours just do nt roll correctly -
what is wrong?
Compensation 2,632.6 hrs
Determine High-level compensation strategy and plan to communicate 40 hrs
Establish Common Review Date 8 hrs
Determine Compensation Transition Plan 100 hrs
Complementation review and transition completed 20 hrs
Retention Bonus Plans 10 hrs
Determine if we owe any commission on sales that complete/turnover to us
after close 10 hrs
Implement Compensation Transition Plan 400 hrs
Begin Job Evaluation Process 10 hrs
Determine when to introduce StARS process 4 hrs

Hi Princess Bride,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I assume Compensation is the summary for the others. In which case please be aware that summaries measure the working time Duration between the start of the first task to the end of the last task. I suggest it is Work that you want rolled up - Insert/Column/ and select Work.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hello Princess Bride (I love that book),

Ensure you do not have resource assigned to any summary level
tasks in addition to Mike's sage advice.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
