Currently The plan is a modified version of the orignial plan which is very
detailed. the new plan is less detailed and is a slight roll up from the
original plan.
I used PWA to transfer hours from one plan to the other. I did an update
actuals hours for both plans.
In the work plan, I am opening both work plans. I use the Resource Usage
View and Task Usage View and verify Protected Actual hours. I have no
removed hours from the original work plan until the new version shows the
same. Currently when comparing them using both views line by line, they are
exact in hours, with the exception of remaining work which is expected.
I have also used a custom view in PWA by Resource of all hours by DAY to
verify the hours match.
It is sounding like i have an indexing issue within project that is causing
the hours to not match. Am i on the right track and if so, what can i do to
correct this.
