Hover button/ Active X control question

To the experts:

it seems that with the latest microsoft updates, webpages vreated by
FrontPage with hover buttons are seen as active x in the browser and have to
be clicked to be seen.

Can this be aqvoided as it was before the MS update?

Doesn't this spoil the asthetic look of a page with hover buttons if they
can't be seen after the page is loaded unless you "Click it"

Correction Office XP with FP on one machine FP2003 with office 2003 on
another. Site vreated with Office XP with FP
