Hover Button and Red X

My browser has started to display hover buttons with a red X instead of the
hover button. I know it's not the Web site because I can see the hover
button on other computers. Is this some sort of Windows setting issue? See
the hover button at http://ca112.lacitycollege.edu/ca112a27/garden/ . On my
computer, it appears transparent with a red X in the left corner. Thanks in
advance.

That did it. I just got a new hard drive. Thanks.

Did you get a new computer?

Those hover buttons are Java (not Javascript). Java requires JVM (Java
Virtual Machine) which newer Windows computers do not come equipt with
(minor legal controversy between Sun & MS).

You can download JVM from Sun and the buttons will work...or you can redo
the buttons so you won't have to explain all this to your users.

What do you mean when you say I could "redo" the buttons?
