Hover button problem

This is strange.
I have FP 2000 installed on my desktop and notebook computers.
I'm trying to insert a hover button into a page. The button works fine on my
notebook, but not on my desktop. In review, all I get is a weak red "x" and
, of course, no functionality. I uninstalled and reinstalled FP twice, but
no fix.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey B,

I am not an expert but I think it has something to do with java.
I had that problem long time ago and don't really remember. It's a java
file that aparently is missing on your desktop computer.
I think you need to copy that file to wherever you upload or save your
webpage, I know frontpage does that automatically.
You might want to wait for somebody that knows better to reply, I am no
expert as I said.

Have fun

Is the desktop XP? If I remember correctly when XP was shipped it didn't
include JAVA. Some legal deal related to the Sun/Microsoft problems. You had
to go to Microsoft and download it.
