How backup everything before Outlook reinstall?

I'm using Outlook 2003w/BCM, and wondered what steps I need to take if I
need to uninstall/reinstall Outlook, so I get back everything I had before
the re-install.

(There's an underlying WinXP problem affecting the whole PC, so the
format/reinstallWinXP will cause me to have to re-install Outlook, among
others. I have a backup tape of MyFiles that can be copied in, but it
doesn't get into the application folder things like Outlook.pst)

In Outlook, there's a File > Business Database > Backup... but it says I
also need to backup linked items.

So, what all needs to be saved/backedup?

Can I just in one fell swoop save the Outlook.pst file... and manually paste
it into the folder post-reinstall?

Hi George,
To take Backup of all the data in Business Contact Manager, use the File >
Business Database > Backup option. Also, take a keep a copy of your .pst for
all the items that are linked to your BCM items (like Mails, Appointments,
Tasks etc.)
Once outlook is re-installed you can get your Business Contact Manager data
back by using the File > Business Database > Restore option.

Thanks, let me see if I understand this... To get back to exactly what I had
before the reinstall... I will need to do this:

BEFORE I ERASE OUTLOOK:
a) Use File > > Business Database > Backup to save my BCM contacts
b) Copy the Outlook.pst... and maybe name it OutlookLOADED.pst

AFTER I REINSTALL OUTLOOK2003-WITH-BCM:
1) Use File > Business Database > Restore option, which will cause me to see
only the CONTACTS and if I go to "John Doe" and click on an appointment or
email... it will be dead...show nothing
2) Copy My OutlookLOADED.pst over the existing, empty Outlook.pst, so I will
then see all the links and appointments appear in BCM, and I'll see all my
emails and appointments reappear in regular (non-BCM) Outlook?

Did I get all this right?
