How can a Visio cab file be added to a Visio install using AIP?

We are trying to add a Visio cab file to a Visio installation using the
Custom Installation Wizard and an administrative installation point.
Although the cab file comes down to the computer, it doesn't open or place
the template in a correct location. What else do we need to do?

I dont know nothing about CIW mor AIP.
But, Visio insatalltion msi file could be analysed by Orca.
And the description about component publish table in msi file
might be a good reference to understand how to distribute.
