how can antiSPAM miss this one ?...

hi,

I run IMF on our E2K3 frontend with "threshold for moving UCE" set to 3,
and in OL2K3 connected to a E2K3 server, the antiSPAM sensitivity is set
to hight. most of the SPAM is correctly catched but guess what I find in
my mailbox:

the suject contains the text:
SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT

the message body contains the text:

SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT:
This e-mail contains images that are not suitable for children.
You must be at least 18 to scroll down or view links!

and a lot of HTML, pics, and sex related text.

how can the IMF+OL-antiSPAM miss this one ? :(
how can I catch this obvious one with IMF+OL-antiSPAM ?

Pierre.

It might not be spam. I could send you that text from my server and
you'd get it.
spam is not content filtering, don't confuse the two as they are very
different.
If you want that out you need a content filter that will scan the
message body as well as the IMF that will scan the headers (which the
content filter will do as well anyway)
If you sent that text to me I would not get it because I run a content
filter in addition to the IMF.

these lines come from the headers of the message:

Received: from mail2.sex4nothing.net ...
Received: by mail2.sex4nothing.net ...
From: "Celebrity Nudes" <[email protected]>

and of course, the subject which is a header line:

Subject: SEXUALLY-EXPLICIT...

as OL2K3 as the ability to filter SPAM even without E2K3+IMF, doesn't it
filter on content ?

if it filter only on headers, do I need to activate it when IMF is running ?
If you sent that text to me I would not get it because I run a content
filter in addition to the IMF.
