How can I abandon a sidenote?

Sometimes I left click on the sys-tray icon instead of right,
or decide not to write a note after all.
Once I've opened a sidenote window, is there any way to close
it and NOT SAVE it?

A couple of thoughts:

1) If you don't edit the page OneNote will not create new side notes. So if
you accidently click the button, close OneNote and then click the button
again there will not be 2 blank pages, just one.

2) Delete the page and then close the side note window. With the keyboard
it is Ctrl-Shift-A and then Del. With the mouse there is a delete page page
button that looks like a page with a red X in the right corner.
