How can I access a webcam from Excel using Visual Basic?

I am trying to access a webcam using visual basic in Excel so I can capture
data while I am away from the office. I would like Excel to save a picture
from the webcam using the date and time as the filename when certain criteria
are met or at set time intervals.

Mark,
I did some web cam stuff in VB5 a while ago and VBA should be very similar.
Ray Mercer has done a lot in this area, with examples based on Video For
Windows/DirectX.

He has a control called "ezvidCap.ocx" that was simple to set and use.
