How can I access Outlook email data without linking?

Does anyone have any Automation code for accessing Outlook email data so I
don't need to link to Outlook?

Hi Alan,

You may want to check out CDO for Windows 2000. See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms527568(EXCHG.10).aspx for
information. I have only used it for sending messages. But I believe it
can be used to access messages also. It would be good to read through a lot
of the stuff so that you can get a good grasp of how it works. Don't be
fooled by the name, it is really for more than Windows 2000.

Hi Cliff,
Thanks for the input, but I'm really looking for an existing function that I
can modify and just plug into my app. I don't have time to go through the
learning curve for something that I will only use one time. So I'm hoping
someone out there has the info for me.
