How can I access the account saved on my phone?

I'm unable to log in to my work account on my Android phone. Although the account is saved in the settings under accounts, I'm unable to access it. When attempting to access files, I receive a message stating that I cannot access work files on a personal account. How can I log in to the account that is saved on my phone?
