How can i access web links emailed to me?

My cox.net and hotmail emails automatically transfer to Outlook so that I
don't have to sign online everytime to 2 different accounts. However, when
someone emails me a link to another site or a coupon or something, I cannot
click on the link and be taken to the site online. Instead, when I click on
the link, my computer tries to set up a Pricacy Defender program which does
nothing. When I used Outlook on my work computer I was able to access links
from outlook so I know there must be a way. I have looked into every option I
can think if and nothing works. I cannot seem to find a "help" topic that
addresses this.

"my computer tries to set up a Pricacy Defender program"
Sounds like your issue to me then. Have you checked the documentation for
that application?
