How can I add a graphic made in publisher to my clipart file?

Tried in vain to add a cropped clip using the assistance given by MS in 'Add
a clip to the clip organiser'. Also tried transferring the clip to 'Word' and
repeating exercise. No success. Need to use my own architectural landscape
graphics repeatedly on single applications. Any ideas?

In Publisher 2002 or 03, right-click, save as picture in a folder. You cannot add to
the Organizer from the Office application.
In the Organizer, file, add clips to the Organizer, "on my own", browse to your
image(s), click "add to" and place in your preferred folder.
