As far as I know, it's not possible because Hotmail doesn't give out
their POP3 and SMTP server information. If you know that information,
you simply add it like any other account.
When in Outlook, go to TOOLS -> EMAIL ACCOUNTS -> ADD A NEW EMAIL
ACCOUNT -> POP3 then fill in the following boxes:
Your Name:
Email Address:
Username:
Password:
POP3 Server name:
SMTP Server name:
Use the Test Account Settings to see if it works. Like I said, unless
Hotmail has changed their policy as of late, they do not give out
their server information.
