I have a Word form that I've setup and I would like five of the form fields
to automatically populate as custom file properties. So whatever is entered
into Text1 should populate the custom file property called Text1.
My first obstacle is that I cannot get into custom properties without
unlocking the form. I do not want to have to unlock the form if I don't have
to.
My second obstacle is that I cannot get the field values to auto populate
the custom property that I've setup. The only way to do it appears to be
checking the box "link to content" but I don't want it linked. I just want
it to be a text field that automatically populates.
Is this unrealistic for someone with no programming knowledge?
