How can I avoid problems with text when changing printer drivers?

I work for a service bureau. One job we get in Pub2002 changes line spacing
and font size in several places when I change from an hp driver to a
Risograph driver. I didn't have this problem with this customer when they
were in Pub2000. Is there anyway to avoid this?
