How can I back up my Access 97 database on a CD-RW?

I've been using Access 97 working at home for several years. I've now quit
(yay!) and my company would like to have this database back there. When I
try to copy it on a CD, it copies as "read only". Obviously, they would like
to be able to make changes to this database.

I also tried to back it up using the Microsoft backup utility, but it didn't
work at all, saying something like the path name was invalid and/or I didn't
have priviledges (I do have admin. priv. on my computer).

Thank you.

All files on CD are marked as "Read-Only". All they need to do is to copy
it onto the hard-disk and remove the "Read-Only" flag on the file.

How do they remove the "read only" flag on the file? Within Access or in "My
Computer"?

Thanks!

From "My Computer" (a.k.a. Explorer). They right-click the file name, select
Properties, and un-check the Read Only box.

Thank you! It worked! Happy Holidays everyone!
