How can I change my default browser?

Jake

I prefer Firefox over IE as a browser and consequently, I want to launch
Firefox when I click on a link in an Outlook email. There must be a way to
change this, but of course it isn't easy for me to find. Any pointers?

Thanks.

Not an Outlook question but... Control Panel->Internet Options->Programs
Tab.

if firefox is set as the default, outlook links should open in it.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question. Once I open that control panel,
what am I supposed to do? I clicked on the Programs tab, and I unselected the
checkbox that says "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the
default browser" and that didn't solve the issue. How do I indicate that I
want Firefox to be my default browser?

HOW DO I CHANGE FIREFOX TO BE MY DEFAULT BROWSER is the question.

I have been told where to go to change it but not how to change it. I have
been told that I need to make it my default browser for it to launch when
clicking on an email, but I haven't been told how to change it. It is not
obvious in the IE settings, nor in Outlook settings, nor in the Internet
Options Control Panel.

Any pointers hugely appreciated.
