how can i change the codepage settings for Project Professional 2003?

the code pages between Project server 2003 and the Project Professional are
different, the Project Professional uses Codepages 1256, and the Project
Server uses Codepages 1252.
and because of that i cant log in to the project server through the project
professional.
HELP.
