How can I change the font size

Hi ...
This is not a general question about changing font sizes ... I know how to
do that. The only thing I want to know about this is that I have seen my web
site on someone else's computer once, and they had their computer set to
large fonts. I did not like how my site appeared in this large font. I
noticed that, for the font I chose for my site, it had: 1 point, 2 point, 3
point, etc. with the default font size next to each. By accident, while I
was typing in another location on one of my pages, I had no "points" 1, 2, or
3, and for that whole section, my typing showed in the same format that I
wanted (just size 12) for that section ... the rest of it was big. So, how
can I convert my text to regular font 12, and not size 3, font 12? It does
not look good with this larger text than I specified for my web site.

You cannot stop users from changing the text size. You will have to
design your page so that it looks good at your suggested size, and is at
least acceptable with other sizes.

Check your own site on your computer in FireFox, and adjust the text
size to see what the adjustment does.

Points are a print metric, and should never be used for screen
applications like web sites. The browser has to interpret how many
pixels are in 1/72 inches - and different browsers have different
interpretations. Use pixels to set the text size, or better still use a
relative size such as keywords (small, medium, large), ems, % etc when
users CAN adjust the font so that they can actually read the text
comfortably without resorting to magnifying glasses.
