how can i change the language of text in a powerpoint

i would like to know how to change the text in a powerpoint file from english
to another language (romanian). i don't know if this is possible in office
products or not. i know google has a tool to translate web pages, but i
don't know if microsoft has something similar (like a language converter) for
their software.

You can't change the language directly in the program from one to the other
but you can set it so spellcheck recognises other languages. (tools ->
language). There is programs that you can purchase to do this for you though.

You have Office 2003? Then try Tools, Research, Translation.

Although it *can* be done, machine translations are iffy at best. It's
better to hire a human translator.
