This is real easy. Go back to the Office web site and search for "Language
Pack". Purchase, download and install the English Language Pack for Office
2007 and you are good to go. The following link works in the US only, I
think.
Office 2007 Language Packs work with all versions of Office 2007. Download
and Trial versions are available in the US in a choice of English or Spanish
now. Please don't muddy the waters by asking irrelevant questions.

It is relevant. Depending from where the OP procured his Spanish version (which
version ) will depend if he can change the language. Most likely from the OP's
question the language pack will not change his Spanish over to English. He will need
to download the English stand alone for it to be able be in English
English language pack afaik works on all localized, i.e. non-English,
versions of Office 2007. I don't see anything in the OP's message to
contradict this.
You've yet to ascertain whether the OP downloaded a Trial and if so what led
them to select Spanish when they required English
Your superfluous comments would seem to be based on assumptions, not least
that we all reside in the US
