how can i convert mac files into office word on a pc

Is there any way that I can convert files created by appleworks on mac on my
pc (which uses office)?

Hmm, Appleworks might be a problem. If you still have the Mac, save the
appleworks text files as RTF, which Word will open no problem. I don't know
if there's an Excel equivalent, might be the comma-delimited file.

If you don't still have the Mac, or access to one:

I believe MacWord includes a converter for Appleworks documents, but I'd be
surprised if WinWord did.

DataViz.com makes the big Mac conversion software (MacLink Plus) and
recently I was surfing their site and realized they also had conversion
software for Windows, you could check that out. They seem to have two
products listed at the bottom of this page:
