how can i convert word files from pc into mac word

i i wrote a big file with microsoft word ( office 2003 ) and i need to open
this file in another word in Mac system, but its not working, so i am aksing
if there is any way to convert the word files into word for MAC ?

There should be no need for any type of conversion - in fact there is *no*
conversion available. Word on the PC & on the Mac have used the identical
file structure for years, so unless you are using a very old version of Mac
Word there must be more to the storey than you've shared so far.

The Word file should be copied to the Mac's hard drive & then opened like
any other Word doc... Don't ever try to open a file directly from (or save
directly to) removable media (floppy, CD, even a flash drive).

If you're following that procedure & can't open the file please supply more
specific info. What do you mean by "it's not working"? What, specifically
are you trying & what exactly *is* happening when you try?
