How can I copy the text only from an Excel cell in a word document? (office 2002 and 2003)

P

Hello,
how can I enter a excel cell shortcut, without any text formats?

Examples:
Exceltable, Cell A1 contains the text "Hello"
Word ->insert content->"unformatted Text" as "Shortcut"
I get:
¶
Hello
¶
yes, with two new lines. :(

Exceltable, Cell B1-B5 contains the text "Hello" (a combined cell)
Word ->insert content->"unformatted Text" as "Shortcut"
I get:
Hello→ → → →

yes, with 5 tabs.

I have tried all other formats in the "insert content" dialog and all
entries from the smarttagmenu after the copy, but no luck, always "new
lines" or tabs.
