How can I create a break timer in powerpoint?

Working with Powerpoint 2000
I have downloaded the templates for the 5 and 10 minute break timers.
How can I make the timer display each second during the countdown?

Where did you download the templates from? If it is from Microsoft Office
Online, I don't think these templates countdown per second. If you want to
have it per second, you will either have to do this manually yourself, or
look for a template that countdown per second.
