HOW CAN I CREATE A CONTACT DATABASE WITH BEST FACILITIES

I am planning to create a database with facilities as follows :
- I want to input and retrieve datas : EMPLOYEE NAME, EXTENSION NUMBER,
MOBILE NUMBER1, MOBILE NUMBER2, EMAIL ADDRESS.
This database I want on the basis of department.

- The department I want to access through tab.
- It would be better if I could retrieve the data in both department base
and whole department base. I have created a simple one with as follows:
a) main form b) subform
main form include Serial Number, Department Name
subform include Empl Name, Extention Number, Tel#, Mobile1#,
Mobile2#,
Email Address. But I cannot retrieve data from subform staying
in main
form thru find.
Would appreciate your favor.
