How can I create a rule to copy OUTGOING mail to a specific folde.

I want to have e-mails that I send to various recipients automatically routed
to folders containing all my correspondence with them. So far, when I try to
create such a rule, it only ends up applying to INCOMING mail, not outgoing.

What am I missing?

Try this:
1. Tools > Rules and Alerts > New Rule > Start From a Blank Rule.
2. Choose Check Messages after Sending
3. Mark 'sent to people or distribution list'. At the bottom of this
window, click on 'people or distribution list' and search for the contact in
question. Choose Next. 4. Then mark the box for 'Move a copy to the
Specified folder. At the bottom of this window, click on 'specified' and
then choose the folder you want to put it in. (Remember, you must have this
folder pre-created.)
5. Continue with defining the remaining criteria of the rules.

Hope this helps.
