There currently isn't a tool in Visio that allows this to occur
automatically. In Visio 2000, there was a Flowchart import wizard, but it
was removed.
If you are using Word 2007, you could take a look at Smart Art, which may
be able to meet your needs. It is built in to Word 2007, and you could
paste text into it to create simple flows. For more complex needs, though,
it may be too primitive. Check it out here :
