How can I create an algebra plot graph in Excel?

I need to submit my final exam in algebra with graphs. How do I create them
either in Word, the format of my test, or in Excel to be inserted into a word
document. These are plotting graphs with an x, y axis

In order to receive an appropriate response in a timely manner you need to
indicate what version of Word you're using. Charts can be created in
[almost] any version but the specifics vary.

You might first try using Word Help for your version & search using the
keyword: chart. If you have any specific problems post back with details.

Excel is the proper application for this task, so you'll have more success
