how can I create shared Departmetn calanders

I am wondering if there is a way that I can create various schdules for my
company.
For example Accounting Department, Estimating Department,Delivery Department
Etc..
I would like these to be shared files that would also automatically schedule
it in each team members personal calanders if they are to be in the meeting.
Then I would like to be able to merge all of the department schedules into
one master company schedule. we are a small company with only 15 users.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated

You supplied no useful information as to your Outlook version or mail server
type, but you can have a look around here for some information that may or
may not apply to your situation:

I have microsoft outlook 2003.I am pretty dure we use a pop3 server for email
not hosted on our server but our website server which is hosted by the web
designer. Would the purchase of microsoft exchange do the trick?

Exchange server would help but would not do all you ask for. Still it is a
great tool to have for sharing all Outlook info so if you have the budget,
buy it.

You can create public folders and add appointments there but that will not
invite selected users. When outlook is connected to Exchange you can use the
schedule tab in a new outlook appointment to see all free/busy time of users.

What you can do is to create a distribution list for every group and when
you want to schedule a meeting you type that in the schedule tab of the
appointment.
All members of the distributionlist will then be invited to it.

You can use an Exchange add-on (www.ExchangeGroupCalendar.com) to populate
one or more public folders with the items that selected users have in their
personal calendars and populate a master calendar public folder with it as
well.
