I need some help in deleting a doc in my office 2007 Student, I accidently
made 2 docs with the same name and revised one of them and kept it, now I
want to delete the other one and I can't figure out how, I did delete it from
my documents but the name remains in the list, any help would be grately
appreciated.. Thanks

First off... you're asking in the wrong place. This newsgroup is for Microsoft
Access, a database program, not for Word or general computer questions. The
webpage can be confusing and may have misled you.

That said, the list of documents when you open the program isn't really
"there". It's just a memory of documents that you once opened. If you deleted
it from My Documents, it's gone (or it's in the Recycle Bin if you need it
back, if you're lucky). Don't worry about the list when you open Word.

If you want to get rid of it, scroll down the list of subject areas and repost
in a Word newsgroup. I don't have Word 2007 installed so can't give confident
advice.
