How can I disable automatic deletion of invitations?

I have two users running Entourage 2008, one using v12.0 and one on v12.01

When events are sent to it, the newer version is automatically deleting the invitation after it has been responded to (accepted or declined). The older version does not behave this way; it keeps the invitation in the inbox like any other mail.

Is there any way to prevent v12.01 from deleting invitations from the inbox after responding to them?

thanks,
Wilson

The new behavior of Entourage 2008 is to *move* a message when accepted
to the calendar. Both 12.0.0 and 12.0.1 should be doing this.

If invites contain attachments then the message will not be deleted to
preserve the attachment. The calendar currently can not handle events
with attachments.

Along with this change is the new preference found under Entourage -->
Preferences... --> General Preferences --> Calendar to "Tentatively add
events when invitations are received (non-Exchange calendars only)".
This may be causing some confusion between your two clients.

Hope this helps!

I have the same issue. I want to keep the invitation in my IN box until I am ready to trash it. If this change was intentional, they should have provided an option to set it to the previous version state. It's a nuisance to have to go and drag the item out of the trash and put it back into my IN folder
