How can I display time in e-mail notifications ?

Hello,

We have noticed that the e-mail notifications that our users receive
includes the date but not the time for certain tasks. Is there a way to
change the date format for these notifications so that it displays the time
as well.

We couldn't find a way to do this, but its very important for the way we
want to use EPM.

Thanks

Ian

OK I'm not a programmer and I don't really intend to start now. Whilst I
accept this article may be helpful to the developer community, I find it
hard to believe that there isn't a simpler way to do this ...surely a switch
somewhere or a change to date format should achieve what appears on the
surface to be a very simple requirement ?

If anyone has a suggestion for the specifics of what we need to do to make
this change, and the asp pages involved I'd be very grateful. I find it
really hard t believe that I may have been the first person to ask this ...

Thanks

Ian

Aaron gave you the correct answer. No, there is not a simpler way to do
this. If there had been a simpler way, don't you think he would have told
you about it? And no, you are not the first person who has asked that
question, or gotten the same answer that Aaron gave you. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,

I appreciate your response - Thanks for clarifying this.

BTW It's not always the case that someone posts the one and only reply to a
question, so its not necessarily the case that Aaron gave me the only
answer. Quite often as I look through the NG I see multiple responses to a
question, all different and one that provides the most effective answer.

If that is the ONLY answer to the question then I duly accept that. But I do
think that its odd that Microsoft wouldn't have thought about this, since
the facility is offered elsewhere in their software. Seems like there's
some inconsistencies here !

Thanks anyway...

Regards

Ian.
