How can i do auto numbering (referencing) for every paragraph with superscript?

for example

Drescher et al (1989) 13(superscript)

John and Tanaka (1991) 14(Superscript)

What *exactly* do you have in your document and what *exactly* do you want
to achieve?
You mention 'auto-numbering' but your example appears to be already

Are you trying to insert End Notes with the reference in superscript? Word
does this (almost) automatically.

I use Word 2003

I have a reference then a number in superscript form in the beginning of
each paragraph, so i need to program the word so it can auto-numbering the
reference at the beginning of each paragraph.
