You could try using the Linked Table Manager. In Access 97, you can find
that under Tools | Add-ins. In Access 2003, it's under Tools | Database
Utilities. Afraid I don't remember where it is for versions in between...

Thank you Sir for your reply. I tried to modify the link by using the Linked
Table Manager but it said i has no links. Let me explain the situation a
little more. I have been given a data base for tracking training. One data
base the dashboard that is linked to the other data bases. Now changing that
one was easy because they had those buttons linked with a hyperlink. But on
the other Dashboards, the buttons are for doing action queries. The one in
particular that is the most imporant to me is the one that has an append
query attached to it it clears the current data base and send the old
information to a history data base for tracking. The problem I am having is
that query is set to look in the c: drive for the file but for lan sharing
puposes i have placed it on the lan share drive (S:). I have gone through the
macro editor and i have changed everywhere i could find a call out for a
directory. At this point I have no idea where to go to from here. I hope this
sheds a little more light on the subject. I am sorry i didn't say all this
before. Again thank you for your help in this matter.
