How can i enable users to view all my projects?

Dave Mochalsky

I want some users to have the ability to view my projects. How can i achieve
that? This is what i tried:

1. I added users as resources in my project and tried to publish the project
but i get a spooler error: "Can not create the resource account". I have
added new users and assigned them rights in PWA but i still get error.
2. I also created these users in enterprise resource pool but i still get
error.

Please help!

Objective: To add new users (e.g, senior management) in project server who
can view my projects.

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

Dave

Dave,

you will need to create the users in your Enterprise Resource Pool. After
you have done this, you can add this user to your Project by chooseing Tools
Build Team from Enterprise. Publish the project and the new user can see
your project ( given that the user has sufficient rights in Project Web
Access).
You may need to consult your Administrator to ensure that the user has
sufficient PWA rights
Hope this helps.

Dave:

When you talk about errors in a help post, post the specific error message.
The easiest way to grant access to all projects for a specific user, is to
add them to the built-in executive group. If you can get them setup in PWA
as users, then you don't have a problem. They do not need to be in the ERP.
