How can I ensure a message to the computer user is aknowledged?

Gary Ainsworth

I have a workbook that runs in the background that becomes the active
app when a certain ontime event occurs. I need to be able notify the
computer user of details and answer a question yes or no.

The problem is I realise that if the keyboard is being used at the
time the message box appproach may be aknowledged without even being
aware of the message in the first place.

i.e. I need to inform the user of alarm and prevent the message from
being ignored. How is this best done please?

regards
Gary

Don't understand your logic here.

Normally typing occurs in the currently active application. If a
message box appears in Excel it sits there until Excel is activated and
a correct key is pressed. In my experience there has never been a
problem with this.
