How can I fully synchronize Outlook between a laptop and desktop?

Many people, especially those that travel often, use Outlook on both a
desktop and a laptop. I can't seem to find an easy means of synchronizing all
data between the two copies/machines.

It seems to me that this feature would be almost a no-brainer to include. Is
there such a feature and I just can't seem to find it or must one resort to
other, more complex means, such as copying folders or files from one to
another?

Well, that's what I suspected. It's a crying shame, for all the money we pay
for Office 2003, for us to have to resort to paying more money for a third
party program to do this.

Thanks for the confirmation,
