How can I get Access to use more memory?

I have a database with a single table that is about 700 MB. My computer has
1 GB of RAM. When I load that table, Access is still only using about 30 MB,
so any activity involving that table is terribly slow.

Is there a way to have Access use 800 MB of RAM and load the whole table
into memory?
