How can I get an Access database to use data from an outside Form

I have office 2000 running with Windows XP Pro. When I create a form using
ASP coding, and try to link it to an access database, nothing happens. I know
it can be done because I've done it before. I just can not remember all of
the steps involved. I know you need to establish the ODBC, and I have done
that. At some point in time a security tab is suppose to appear, when you
right click and go to properties, but it never does.

Can you tell me what to do?
