How can I get autotext to suggest entries by itself?

I have a number of autotext entires from Word 93 that I need to use on a
regular basis. Having to scroll through the Building Block list is extremely
inconvenient and time consuming. Is there any way to get Word 97 to
automatically suggest autotext entires?

If your autotext entry is 256 characters or less, you can add it to the
autocorrect list and have it work like it used to in autotext.
Select - Office button, word options, proofing, autocorrect options and
enter replace and with text... If you have text selected before
you open autocorrect options, it will already be listed in the
With: box for you, then you just need to enter you old autocorrect
code in the replace text box.
Maybe someday they'll fix this!!!!

Although AutoComplete tips no longer appear for AutoText entries, you can
still insert an Autotext (or any other type of Building Block) by typing
enough of its name to be unique and then pressing F3.
