How can I get "modify greeting line" dialog box?

I have been trying to get GreetingLine Merge field to give me a window that
says Modify Greeting Line dialog box and I'm not getting the appropriate
window. Please help.

I do not know of any Modify Greeting Line dialog box.

Depending upon what it is that you want, you can probably accomplish it
using an If...then...Else field construction.

There's nothing simple you can do /during the merge/ to modify the greeting
Line set-up or modify the data that will be used by the field

To modify the greeting line set-up before the merge, you should be able to
a. select the field
b. right-click
c. click Edit Greeting Line...
