How can I get my appointments from an Old Outlook to a new one?

I have purchased a new computer with Microsoft Office 2007. How can I get my
appointments out of Office 2002 on my old computer and into the new. I have
also upgraded from XP to Vista. I wish to use a USB flash drive to transfer
the data. Please help.

Find the old *.PST file and move that to the new computer. In Outlook, open
it via File/Add/Store. Switch to the calendar and open the old one. Switch
to view all appointents in a table, e.g. View by Category. Then drag all
items to the new file's calendar.

I am confused. Please help.
In Microsoft Outlook I clicked on File - Data Management. Account Settings
opened and under the Data Files tab two Personal Folders are listed, each
called Outlook.pst. One is on my C: drive and the other on my E: drive
(which is my flash drive).
When I followed your instructions, by going to Outlook and clicking File -
Open - Outlook Data File I was faced with a window headed Personal Folders
and in small print "nothing to show". I tried the same thing in Calender and
the same result.
