How can I get my outlook outgoing server to work

I have out 2003, student edition. I also have Juno, platnium, and juno mega
mail. I have a problem with my outgoing server. I have verified and
re-verified my outgoing server address, smtp.juno.com. I have verified my
port and ssl settings. I have tried clicking connect before sending, I have
really read everything and done everything I can think of and I'm a creative
guy, juno support is no help. I've gone around and around with them several
times. the error: send test message - canot connect to outgoing server,
verify port and ssl settings are correct.
port settings:
-incoming (pop3) 110
-outgoing (smtp) 25
what's next I've been asked twice if my firewall is the problem but I don't
think it would be with outgoing mail... is there any hope?
