How can I get rid of an error message (1004) in MS Word

I use a program called Bullfighter 2.0 with Word to help me weed out
grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors when I write my esays but as of
yesterday, I started receiving an error message that says, "1004" unknown and
Bullfighter is no longer working. This happens every time I open Word. Does
anyone know how to hel;p me get rid of the problem, please? I even
uninstalled and re-installed the entire Microsoft Office 2003 package in an
effort to rid myself of this error. It also says that I should re-install
Bullfighter or my dictionary is corrupted. What dictionary and how can I fix
this dictionary so that Bullfighter can work again? Please help me. Thank you.

It sounds like the messages are coming from the add-in rather than Word. You may want to email Rob Rose through

As I recall the latest version was 1.2 rather than 2.0
