how can i get rid of full stops after each word

when I am typing a letter or any subject a full stop appears after each word,
how can I get rid of this.

Sounds as if you have turned on formatting marks (nonprinting characters) -
the "full stop" indicates a space.
Click the ¶ icon on the Standard toolbar to turn formatting marks off. If
this does not help, select Tools > Options > View tab and make sure that both
"Spaces" and "All" are deselected in the Formatting marks group. Click OK.
