How can i get the current outlook calendar date? Please help!

Hi,
Can i determine what is the current date of the calendar on office
2007?
Meaning, if the user is currently viewing april or january, can i
determine this date from my VSTO add-in?
I'm using VSTO SE + outlook 2007.
