You can have the real icon but it won't look like the previous version
because Microsoft likes to change things to look more "hokie" each time they
change versions. :>(
Here's how: go to START|ALL PROGRAMS|MICROSOFT OFFICE and there you will
see the Outlook Icon. PRESS AND HOLD the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON down on the icon
and drag it out to a space on your desktop and release the button. A
dialogue window pops up with choices. Select COPY HERE. Then move the
bugger anywhere on your desktop you like.
Or, when you see the icon you want in your Programs menu, click the RIGHT
BUTTON once, and select COPY, then go out on the desktop somewhere and RIGHT
CLICK again. Then Select PASTE (not PASTE SHORTCUT) and you have the same
result.
I like that Right Button for a lot of nice things like this. You can even
use it to add a button to the Microsoft Shortcut Bar, if you use one.
Have a nice day.
